Viva Energy Australia and Matt Hall Racing Announce Partnership

Viva Energy Australia (Viva Energy) one of Australia’s largest suppliers of aviation fuel and Matt Hall aviation racing legend are pleased to announce a three-year ambassador deal.

Skyfuel, Hall’s official fuel partner since 2009 was acquired by Viva Energy in April 2023 and both brands have secured a revered place on the Matt Hall Racing (MHR) livery. The partnership involves various ambassador activities with a focus on low and zero carbon fuel solutions available for the aviation industry.

World champion pilot and chief executive officer at MHR says while his performance and business depends heavily on reliable supply of quality fuel, it is also important to him personally to transition to a lower carbon future.

“It’s a privilege for me to represent Viva Energy because they supply the best fuel, at great locations and lead the pack from a safety and sustainability perspective,” Hall said.

“I’m also really happy to retain Skyfuel in this partnership because Rob Mangan and the business have supported me since I came onto the racing scene and it’s a sentimental relationship,” Hall said.

Viva Energy has a presence at over 50 airports and airfields, including all major airports. The business manufactures jet fuel at its Geelong refinery, is the only manufacturer of Aviation Gasoline (Avgas) in the country and proudly offers opt-in carbon neutral Jet A-1 and Avgas.
