Meet the pilots

 

Matt ‘Matty’ Hall

Red Bull Air Race World Champion / Wing Commander RAAF Rtd. and Aerobatics Pilot

Matt Hall is a Red Bull Air Race world champion and former Royal Australian Air Force top gun fighter pilot. Matt placed third in his world championship racing debut in 2009 and since accumulated seven wins and 25 podiums, making him the most successful Air Race pilot in the modern era. Matt is a former wing commander in the Royal Australian Air Force and combat veteran of Iraq with USAF medals for heroism under fire in his F-15E Strike Eagle fighter jet, supporting troops on the ground.

 

Jason ‘Easty’ Easthope

Group Captain, RAAF Fighter Pilot and Aerobatics Pilot

Easty joined the Royal New Zealand Air Force at the age of 18 and began flying jets at only 19 years of age. In 2002 he transferred to the Royal Australian Air Force. Easty has over 6000 military flying hours. Military jet aircraft flown include; F/A18 Hornet, SEPCAT Jaguar, McDonald Douglas A4K Skyhawk, BAe Hawk Mk1 and 127, Aermacchi 339C and Albatros L-39C. Easty has flown for the MHR team over since 2015 as an aerobatic experience and display pilot.

 

Kris ‘Ski’ Sieczkowski

Flight Lieutenant, RAAF Fighter Pilot and Aerobatics Pilot

Flight Lieutenant Kris Sieczkowski joined the Royal Australia Air Force in 2008. He graduated 220 pilots’ course in 2010. He went on to fly the F/A-18 ‘Classic’ Hornet, completed the Flying Instructor Course before going on to instruct on the Hawk 127 Lead-In Fighter. He also completed F35 conversion in the United States. Kris is also a display pilot with the Roulettes. Kris has flown for the MHR team over since 2018 as an aerobatic experience and display pilot.
