Matt Hall

Matt epitomises the core elements of a true champion and gentleman.

Matt is the reigning Red Bull Air Race world champion and former Royal Australian Air Force top gun fighter pilot. Matt placed third in his world championship racing debut in 2009 and has since accumulated seven wins and 25 podiums, making him the most successful air racing pilot in the modern era.

  • Matt Hall is a third generation pilot and has a long history in the air. Beginning flying with his dad from an early age, Matt his first solo flight at age 15 in a glider, before gaining his aircraft pilot’s licence at the age of 18.

    Now licensed in gliders, ultralights, hang gliders, powered aircraft, helicopters and military jets, Matt holds over 7500 hours in various aircraft types.
