Baby Sandilands Gender Reveal - Matt Hall Charged With The Duties

KIISFM radio host Kyle Sandilands and his pregnant fiancée Tegan Kynaston have charged Red Bull Air Race world champion and RAAF top gun fighter pilot Matt Hall with the honours of revealing the gender of their baby.

The couple will host a spectacular gender reveal party aboard a luxury superyacht this Friday starting midday in Sydney Harbour with celebrity guests including Sandilands’ co-host Jackie O Henderson.

Sandilands, 50, announced he is expecting his first child with Kynaston, communications director, 35, last week following their engagement in January this year.

The dropping of blue or pink smoke from two planes will be instructed on air by Sandilands as he communicates live with Hall on approach to the superyacht.

The 2pm gender reveal will be performed by Hall and Emma McDonald, emerging elite air racing pilot. The display may take place before or after the intended time depending on weather conditions.

The superyacht will be located at Bradleys Head in full view of the happy news. A trail of vibrant pink or blue smoke will travel throughout the harbour as the planes fly past the yacht over to Kirribilli, the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Opera House and Mrs Macquarie’s Chair before returning east to the heads.

Hall is excited to be part of the occasion, “This is something very different for us and an interesting challenge from a planning and testing perspective.

It’s a special time, welcoming a precious life into the world and this little baby will certainly know he or she is very loved.

Matt Hall Racing has been working closely with the team at KIISFM for many weeks in preparation for what they believe will be the first time a gender reveal of this nature has been performed in Australia.
