Len has been a licensed Aircraft Engineer, Aerobatic Pilot and Test Pilot for more than 30 years, building, repairing and flying many different types of competitive aerobatic and race planes.
He was a test pilot for the Jon Staudacher line of S300 and S600 Aerobatic Aircraft for many years and has designed and built his own midwing aerobatic monoplane, the RX1 Laser.
The Phoenix resident began competing in aerobatic competitions in 1988 in a Pitts S1S and still competes when his schedule allows.
Len is no stranger to air racing and the Red Bull Air Race World Championships. He was the technician for Kirby Chambliss when the American won the 2006 Red Bull World Championship before two seasons as the technician for air race pilot Steve Jones during the 2007 and 2008 Red Bull World Championships.
And while he had the 2009 season off from air racing, Len did not sit still, as he was the USA Unlimited Aerobatic Team Mechanic at the 2009 World Aerobatic Championships held in Silverstone, England.

David Lyall is a sports mad media manager, public relations consultant, journalist and researcher who runs his own company – Sports Communication Australia.
David has worked with some of the most successful sporting teams and highest profile athletes in Australia including Olympic gold medallists, international football players (across several codes) and action sport stars.
Highly regarded for his work ethic and creativity, David was a member of the 2008 Australian Olympic Team’s media corps in Beijing and has worked at several FINA World Swimming Championships and the 2006 Commonwealth Games as the Media Manager of the Australian Swim Team.
David has previously filled high level media operations roles for events conducted by Swimming Australia, the UCI, Surf Life Saving Australia, Sydney FC, Diving Australia, Water Polo Australia and Global Surftag.
Away from work David enjoys spending time with his wife Robyn, going to the beach, surfing, watching sport and sharing a cold beer with friends and family.
