Dave is a sports mad media manager, public relations consultant, journalist and researcher who runs his own company – Sports Communication Australia.
Dave has worked with some of the most successful sporting teams and highest profile athletes in Australia including Olympic gold medallists, international football players (across several codes) and action sport stars.
Highly regarded for his work ethic and creativity, Dave was a member of the 2008 Australian Olympic Team’s media corps in Beijing and has worked at several FINA World Swimming Championships and the 2006 Commonwealth Games as the Media Manager of the Australian Swim Team. He will also be a member of the Australian Olympic Team’s media team in London in 2012.
David has previously filled high level media operations roles for events conducted by Swimming Australia, the UCI, Surf Life Saving Australia, Sydney FC, Diving Australia, Water Polo Australia and Global Surftag.
Away from work David enjoys spending time with his wife Robyn, going to the beach, surfing, watching sport and sharing a cold beer with friends and family.

Andrew is Managing Director of 5 Oceans Management and Matt’s manager.
Andrew has a unique and diverse skill set, having worked across every component of the sports marketing industry over the past two decades, specialising in Talent Management, Event Management, Media Management, Sponsorship and Marketing – in the fields of sport and entertainment. As a result of his diversity, having , he has forged strong relationships with media, athletes, sponsors , clients and National Sports Organisations.
Andrew is also Manager of teenage around the world sailor & Young Australian of the Year Jessica Watson. Along with Matt, Jessica is just one of an impressive group of talent on the 5 Oceans roster that Andrew represents – they include seven time world surfing champion Layne Beachley, NRL legend Hazem El Masri, Australian cricketers Steve O’Keefe, Mitchell Starc and Ellyse Perry, plus weatherman Tim Bailey.
Andrew has worked closely with many multi national brands and has extensive experience in sourcing, negotiating and executing sport sponsorships and partnerships - these include multi-million dollar deals with Vodafone and Accenture.
Andrew played 25 seasons of grade cricket in Sydney with Manly Warringah Cricket Club, of which he is a Life Member of the Club and has been Honorary President since 2003.

Name: Grant Piper
Role: Aviation Development Manager
Grant is a self-employed farmer and grazier who grew up on the land before earning a Bachelor of Engineering (Aeronautical) at UNSW where he distinguished himself as a student and was awarded the Royal Aeronautical Society Student Lecture Prize in 1986.
Grant then joined the RAAF where he continued to stand out and amongst many achievements he was appointed as Officer-in-Charge, Aerospace Technology Squadron, RAAF School of Technical Training from 1992-1994.
Always tinkering and mad keen on aviation, Grant has amassed more than 4000 pilot hours, was the 2006 Australian Sportsman Aerobatic Champion (flying an RV-4 which he built) and is currently competing in aerobatics at Advanced level in a Giles G-200.
He has been married to Annette for more than two decades and has three children.
Name: Shawn Matthews
Role: Operations Support
Shawn is an experienced aviator having joined the RAAF in 1988 where he built an impressive career over more than two decades before retiring as a SQNLDR in 2009 having served as Executive Officer of 2OCU .
Along with his more than 2000 hours in the seat of an F/A 18 where he was rated as an A Cat fighter pilot, Shawn has extensive experience in civillian aircraft having flown (amongst others) an EA300L (Extra), C180 Glider Tug, C172 and C206 float planes, CJ6A Nanchang, Super Decathlon and a Learjet LR35/36.
When he is not sitting in the cockpit Shawn enjoys travelling, surfing and most sorts of physical adventure. In recent years he has climbed the Matterhorn, ridden a motorcycle from Ryadh to Glasgow and contested a race running over the Alps (Germany, across Austria to Italy).

From a very early age Jack always wanted to fix and fly planes.
He began an apprenticeship at the age of 17 for a company maintaining the Royal Australian Air Force’s training aircraft before concentrating on carrying out rebuilds on aircraft and it was there he fell in love with the rewards of rebuilding aircraft.
After spending three years living and working in London and travelling the world repairing aircraft, Jack returned to Perth and began working for a company restoring vintage aircraft.
In 2009 Moshovis passed his private pilot’s licence and began running his own maintenance company, Aero Jacks, carrying out a range of jobs from restorations of vintage aircraft to maintenance of the latest turbine aircraft.
Away from the workshop Jack loves to spend time with his wife Lisa, travel, fly and BBQ with friends and family.
