Hall recovering from back surgery
Matt Hall is recovering in a Newcastle hospital after undergoing surgery today for a ruptured disc in his back. The 40-year-old aerobatic pilot injured his back last week and doctors ordered the L5/S1 disectomy to limit the possibility of long term nerve damage.
