It’s been a busy month or so for the Matt Hall Racing Team.
Matt and Dave spent a week dedicated to fulfilling media duties in Newcastle – some of the results of which many Australians would have seen on Channel 9 News, The Today Show, Sunrise, Fox Sports News, NBN and on this website too…and there is more to come. Magazine articles, newspaper stories and more TV.
We also put together a whole heap of cool videos that we will show on this site throughout the year. Keep an eye out.
Matt travelled with wife Pedita and son Mitchell to Perth to help team sponsor Eventscorp Western Australia launch their 2010 Events Calendar. Matt got to take ex-Test cricketer and all round good bloke Michael Slater up for an aerobatic flight over the race site.
A week later he took seven time world champion surfer Layne Beachley for the ride of her life at Bankstown in the Red Bull Extra 200 that is usually piloted by Joel Haske of Red Baron.
In the mean time all of the team have been working on the new website, uniforms, merchandise, our soon to be released Team Guide and of course our newsletter that will come out this week (don’t forget to subscribe by emailing team@matthallracing.com and putting ‘subscribe’ as the subject).
Over in the USA Lenny has been at the MX factory working hard on the race aircraft with the crew there. Matt is heading over soon so we’ll have updates on that shortly. The whole team will get together in the second half of February for a training camp in chilly North Carolina.
